November 10th

our get-together in november was good. 7 ladies and one man (poor perrin - lee ellen didn't hold him up for the picture!). we had a good time catching up!

hopefully we will get together again before november. we may just start setting a date. kinda like we do for the november get together: it is always the saturday night of mistletoe marketplace. makes it easy to remember, you know?

hey guys...hope all is going well with your families

i have some bad news to share.....my mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer....she had an abnormal annual mammogram and they sent her for a diagnostic mammogram which showed micro calcifications and wanted her to have a needle biopsy which she did last thursday....the results came in the next day on friday that showed positive for 2 types of cancer....one DCIS is non-invasive and is contained in the milk ducts but the other IDC is spreading to other tissues of the breast.

She has an appt with a surgeon on wed. to discuss treatment options please pray for her and all of my family as we prepare for what is sure to be a hard and stressful beginning to 2008

November 10th...

is right around the corner!! One week from this coming Wednesday will be our annual get together!!!

We need to be deciding where we want to go eat. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me some suggestions!!!! some that have been mentioned are Bonefish, Nick's, Tico's.

Another baby...

Jennifer and Chris Shelby had Walker on September 7th - same day as Lily Gaston! Jennifer said that they are all doing well!!

Christy and Joel Chamblee had Payton Caroline Chamblee on Wednesday, September 5th. I saw Christy on Friday night (when Kristina was in labor - see below) and she was doing great.

Kristina and Hamp Gaston had Lily Miller Gaston on Friday, September 7th. Everyone is doing well!

elizabeth had a baby boy, will, on august 3rd. she sent some pictures, but they were extra large and i couldn't figure out how to condense them!!! i will work on it and see what i can do. everyone is doing well, or at least appeared to be!! and he is TOO cute!!!!

Well, Will has decided to become a breech baby!! And since I have dialated 3 cm and am 80% effaced, we are having a C-section today at 2:00! Yall, say a prayer that his lungs are good and healthy, and I'll send pictures when I get a chance............elizabeth
